\\ PENRITH REGIONAL GALLERY AND LEWERS BEQUEST // gallery of images was a brief myself and a group of 5 other students underwent during a semester at university. Throughout the semester we were asked as group to come up with an image gallery which brought back the sense of adventure to the gallery. Over the 15 weeks we explored promotional photography and workshop photography, these are my results from this task. I followed the post production liking of other students so that all images were the same, but this was a hard ask.
\\ PARTY // is the results of a night event I was asked to photograph. This was my first attempt at night club photography and I’m proud to say these photographs were above and beyond what the client asked for. These photos were aimed to capture the client on her birthday with everyone at the party, mainly her family as she doesn’t see them very much anymore as she move out and home is a goof 4 hour drive out of Sydney.
\\ CITY CBD // is the final result of one of my final units of University. We were asked to recreate a old final design work, so I chose to recreate my final work I created in year 12. The original purpose was the capture 5 different elements of the city and create a collection. In this task I wanted to focus more on my specialisation in landscape photography and create a coffee table book which captures the beauty of the city both through nature and man made artefacts. These images show how nature can make anything look beautiful and partnered these images up with a relating quote.
\\ SOURCE // is my major work created in my final year of University. Through the creation of the publication and website, I developed my skills and concept of landscape photography greatly. The aim of the publication was to encourage the responder to get outdoors and enjoy an adventure either alone or with family. The images were support to get you thinking about a place of activity to engage in. These images were also placed on the SOURCE Instagram to encourage people all around Sydney and Australia. The images of this final project are from places all around Sydney and aim to capture nature and it’s beauty each day.
